Remarks:
- Registration fees are rated in HK$ (exchange rate of US $1: HK $7.8).
- According to the World Bank, developing countries are identified by low income, lower middle income or upper middle income economies, based on its Gross National Product (GNP) Per Capita. Please refer to World Bank’s website at: http://www.worldbank.org/data/databytopic/CLASS.XLS.
- Registration fee does not cover Congress Dinner. It only includes admission of registrant to all sessions, including Opening and Closing Ceremony, Welcome Reception, Plenary Sessions, Memorial Lectures, Concurrent Sessions, Agency Visit, Poster Session, Exhibition, Tea Break, Lunch, Congress Bag & Materials including Congress Program Book and Abstract Book.
- All participants should be responsible for their own medical, travel, personal and other insurance. The registration fee does not cover any kind of insurance.
- Each participant should complete a separate form. Photocopy of registration form is acceptable.
- Students must be able to present proof of full time enrollment at an accredited university or college, e.g. copy of student ID or signed certificate from institutions must be attached at the Registration Form. For online registration, please send the documents by email / fax / mail.

- Bankdraft / Cheque
Bankdraft / Cheque should be made payable to The Hong Kong Mental Health Conference Limited. Please indicate participant’s name, organization and full corresponding address on the back of the bankdraft / cheque and attach it with the Registration Form then return to the Congress Secretariat. - Credit Card
Only VISA and MasterCard are accepted. Please complete the credit card payment section online or on the Registration Form and mail the form to the Congress Secretariat. - Please do not send cash.
- Registration form received without payment will not be processed.
Confirmation of Registration
If using online registration, upon receiving the Registration Form, an automatic reply acknowledging your submission will be E-mailed to applicants and upon completion of payment, a Confirmation Letter will be E-mailed to the applicants; if using mailing service, a written Confirmation Letter will be faxed instead.
Any changes or alterations to the registration must be made in writing to the Congress Secretariat. Please present the Confirmation Letter at the Registration Counter to collect the Congress materials.
Cancellations by Participants
- Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Congress Secretariat stating the delegate’s name and registration number by E-mail, fax or regular mail. Refund of registration fee will subject to the following conditions:
Cancellations received on or before 30 June 2007 will receive a 50% of refund of registration fees.
Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. - Cancellation of Congress Dinner for delegates and accompanying persons is refundable prior to 30 June 2007.
Special Requirement
If you need any special requirement, including special diet, medical or physical disabilities requirements, please notify the Congress Secretariat by indicating on your registration form.
Cancellation of the Congress
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to alter the content and timing of the programme or the speakers for reasons beyond its control.
- In the event that the premises in which the Congress is conducted become unfit for occupancy or substantially interfere which is not reasonably under the control of the Organizing Committee, the Congress may be cancelled or moved to another appropriate location at the sole discretion of the Organizing Committee.
- The Organizing Committee shall not be responsible for delays, damage, loss, increased costs, or other unfavourable conditions arising by virtue of cause or causes not reasonably within the control of the Organizing Committee. Causes for such action shall include, but not be limited to: fire, casualty, flood, epidemic, earthquakes, accident, blockade, embargo, inclement weather, governmental restraint laws, act of public enemy, riot or civil disturbance, impairment or lack of adequate transportation, inability to secure sufficient labour, technical or other personnel, municipal, state or federal laws, or act of God.
Official Letter of Invitation
Official letter of invitation to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain counties will be issued upon request. However, such a letter does not imply any financial or other support from the Congress.
